Hello!  Thank you for you're time.  I have been with TBE for about 4 week's, I am told to log off for an hour even though my call volume is high.  But, they say that it is not.  Also, I get reamed for hang ups.  Can you tell me why?

Put TBE into the search feature and read the many threads you'll find there. 

They have been doing that to me recently. Have you been calling in on their 866#? I just got a call they want you to use your long distance to call starting Monday. It is a 818 number. Sucks, I know I will not be doing it. I made no money with the creeps this week. Glad to know it was not just me. They are the worst. Find a new job. When Anissa call you. Tell her how rotten they have been to you this week.

I work for PPS which is just a recruiter for TBE and both of them SUCK!!! They have been messing with my stats for the past 2 weeks. Then last night they had me log off for a half hour this is after only being on for a half hour. I logged back in they they gave me *** telling me I logged on late. Then they told me my shift was over. I didn't even work a full hour. I have an interview with Universal Talk tomorrow. I can't wait!! I hope I get the job. So I can tell PPS to f**k off!! I have not gotten a call from PPS or TBE about calling in on the 818# instead of the 866#, but when I do get that call today I will tell them no way!! I'm not paying $$ to work for you JERKS!! Thanks for letting me vent. I'm soooo pissed. But, I'm also real excited about my interview tomorrow. From reading these boards Universal Talk is a great company. Any other tips about interviewing with them would be most appreciated. Also, thank you all for your posts. I love this board.

They must be having money problems. I got my first check for 50o.00 which was good for the first two weeks I worked considering I never did this work before and I only worked like 20 hours. Now I my hold time average is like 5 minutes thanks to the calls where no one speaks for over a minute and half and then they hangup-hmmmm....a dispatcher probably!!! They are messing with our calls to ruin our times. If you do get a call from them about the 866 number, give them a ear full and tell them that you that you know they are screwing with PSO's stats and money!

Once again, Universal Talk does not want to be discussed on the pso boards and I've heard they will fire those who do so. 

I am sure most companies would wish their workers would not discuss them. However, this is a free country. Censorship is never good and should not be tolerated.

I agree, however, since they also are in a free country, they have the right to fire you if you do that. So, consider yourself warned.  

 how is this new system gonna work if you login on a long distance # you stay logged in for 4 hours in many cases longer is it gotten so bad money wise that you now have to call long distance to login not sure about that one I don't think tbe is in the postion to keep stepping on the toes of its operators then again maybe its a temporary thing but I really don't think its a good idea on there part but who knows.keep me posted on this one I'd love to know the out come!!!

I know. If they are not letting their workers stayed logged on long enough to make money, most are just going to quit now that they have to foot the phone bill. They called me on Saturday to say the change was effective on MONDAY! I have unlimited long distance. But I bet many operators do not. What do they do? If TBE keeps this up, David, Tony and Kim will be answering their sex lines themselves because they are driving their workers away in droves. I was supposed to work tonight. I did not even log in and do not care if they let me go. I bet they will be calling when no one calls in next week on that toll number.

 I haven't logged in in about two weeks called the office to see if I still had a job there but tried my password first it was still active so I callled the office she called supervior and then called me back and said yea I was still active and to login in to set work hours but I didn't so I guess a good thing I didn't I don't have long distance at all if thats the way there gonna do biz from now on they are cutting their on throats but my guess is if they need to cut cost maybe cut back on operators not this long distances stuff they are doing but I guess they gotta line there pockets alittle deeper at the expense of the aready under paid under appericated opertaors.

Hey if they did not call you. Log in using the 866 line. I think they are targeting just certain people. Who knows how their minds work. Do you work for another company?

I was supposed to start working for them about 2 weeks ago. I was not able to make my first shift due to phones were out and being repaired. The girl was rude to me when i called in ahead of my shift to let them know. AND when i said something to them about my phones she said i cannot have a phone line through a cable company. I was like why not it's only used for my business and thats it. Grrrr...was she ever rude. and I just was like whatever. and I never logged in after that because if they are going to be rude like that righ from the get go i'm not going to work with a company like that because i already have enough  stress in my life right now due to the fact that my boyfriend almost died in August that to me is pure BU*L*SH*T. Not gon happen. I'm not gon pay to work for them Besides, it may say you have unlimited access on your phone plan BUT almost all phone companies are capping there unlimited long distance now no matter what...

I was so looking foward to working for a company that would pay me hourly, what a disspointment, i should have known...

They can most certainly take their job and shove it...

That is bs. My phone is through cox cable in Virginia. I did not know that long distance was capped. I will have to check into that. Like I said. They are going to be answering them phones themselves soon. No one is going to pay a long distance bill for the pleasure of working for TBE. If you shift is 7-11 pm. You have to be on that phone for the entire 4 hours. That adds up.
