Hi Staci.
I wasn't posting here to talk about our affiliate program, as this is kinda off-topic.
However since you opened the discussion... let me comment on your post.
Staci:
So you're the one that's been spamming all domain mailboxes promoting this affiliate? Lol
Just doing your job, I know! :)
Yes I do contact webmasters and various companies to tell them about our program. My job is to generate calls and lots of them so the only way is to be proactive with partnership building. You can't just sit there and wait for stuff to happen.
Staci:
I understand that you are the marketing company and not the webmaster, but tell them the site would look better without the typos :)
Thanks, he just got an email :)

It is an interesting affiliate, as it does offer several programs, but it does have it's drawbacks.
I didn't like the fact that the minutes could be broken down into numerous calls, with no minimums (guys could buy 10 minutes and call for 5 2-min calls if they want).
Well, you have to look at it from the eyes of the client. If he doesnt like the girl he can switch to another one, yes. But since many clients end up with small balances in their account, they call back to use their remaining minutes... and end up buying more. when clients love the service, they call back. As an affiliate, the client is tagged as yours from the start so it doesnt matter if he spends his minutes with multiple short calls or few longer ones. What matters is the total minutes he spent and the fact that he comes back to the service.
Also the bigger blocks of minutes they purchase, the cheaper they pay per minute. So we have users buying blocks of 120 minutes.. who end up spending all these minutes in one or 2 calls.
Staci:
The fact that the callers have to call from the phone number that is associated with their credit card and they have to be there to accept a verification callback before they can do a call. I can understand that this would help defray credit card fraud, but would also greatly limit the calls as most of my callers call from their cells, hotel rooms, office, etc.
Let me correct this one.
The verification call is only done when a called is from countries where there is no automated fraud check system. And this call is only made on the first purchase the client makes, to check if the credit card owner is aware of the transaction.
And clients can call the service from any phone, anywhere (as long as the number is not blocked)

Thank you :)
