    RE: 800Delilah

    Hi Every1

I love this board it has been so helpful!

Does any1 out there that works for Delilah know how long it takes for them to contact you. I just did a recording today and I know that it is a holiday but I'm just anxious and curious.

    Thanks!!!

I don't specifically know about this company but a general rule of thumb is to give companies at least 48 hours and perhaps more on holidays and weekends. You also have to catch them when they are hiring and this is a slow time of the year, generally speaking. Since they require a recording, they may also be looking for a specific type of voice and if you're not it, you probably won't get a call. I would suggest being patient and continuing to apply with other companies while you wait.

You can chat with her on aim.  I have.  She wanted her girls in her chat room trolling for calls, so i passed her by, that was then.

Now, you don't have to hit her chat room.  You just get paid less for straight dispatch. She is a very nice woman who's company is growing, at times slow.  Custys pay in blocks of time or by the minute, your pay does not change with per min. or blocks of time.

Her client base as i said is growing.  She's doing good, always pays and is honest.

They get back to you pretty quick. Super nice people and do pay. Calls are far and inbetween. SLOW. Just my 2 cents. Work another company at the same time if you get hired.

Does Delilah the radio show host actually  own delilah? Who is the owner. I have been working there for 8 months now and the call volume is way down. I am wondering if it is because their prices are so high? I wanted to e-mail the owner and let herknow how the high pirces are really effecting the psos.

Yes she is the owner of the request line for music.  Nice woman.  Perhaps she will make up a "holiday" package to bring in more customers.

    Good luck ;)

She's not affiliated with the Delilah radio show. It even says so in the 800delilah recording. It is a great company.

Yes the company is/was.  The recording used to say so.  I can't remember the exact words but, it asked the caller to press a number  for entertainment... for the talk show host please hold on when she was taking requests for music.

They are the same.... or used to be.
